Full-stack SaaS platform with a Node.js and Express backend, event and class management, subscription billing, advanced analytics and role-based access control for yoga instructors and students.
The challenge
Build a modern SaaS platform for yoga students and instructors to manage events, classes, profiles and payments, with advanced filtering and subscription analytics, keeping a secure and scalable architecture.
What we did
Scalable backend with Node.js and Express and a REST API for events, class schedules and subscription billing. Stateless JWT authentication with Passport.js and role-based access control. MongoDB data models with indexes so subscription analytics stay fast. React frontend with TanStack Query to cache API responses and sync data. Docker containers for cloud deployment and horizontal scaling.
The result
Before there was no platform: the studio ran classes, events, profiles and payments on its own. Today they live in one place, with separate permissions for instructors and students, and the dashboard responds instantly thanks to the database indexes and the API cache. A new environment is a container, not a deployment guide.
